WIDER & LLOYD WERFT SHARE STAND AT MONACO SHOW
Posted in News
At the Monaco Yacht Show this year - held from the 27th – 30th September – WIDER will be teaming up with German shipyard Lloyd Werft.
Both yards are fully owned by Genting Honk Kong Limited, who completed the acquisition of WIDER in April, to complement an existing portfolio of yachting assets which include Grand Banks, Palm Beach Yachts as well as the Dutch submarine manufacturer, U-Boat Worx.
The current WIDER range of all-aluminium yachts comprises the 150 and 165 models while Lloyd Werft specializes in custom yacht projects above 120m.
"We are delighted to be present again at the Monaco Yacht Show, definitely the most important event of the year for the large yacht market. The link-up between WIDER and our German megayacht yard Lloyd Werft is the first outward sign of the cooperation which has been going on since earlier this year... things will be developing further over the coming months so watch this space," said Michael Hackman, Executive Vice President - Marine Operations with Genting Hong Kong and interim Chairman of WIDER.
WIDER staff will be on hand to answer questions and explain the advantages of the diesel-electric power system, used across all of the yachts in the range, as well as to update on the latest stage of construction of the WIDER 165 – click here for details – which is to be launched in late February 2018 and is currently available for sale.
The WIDER stand can be found on the Jetée Lucciana - QL12, near the Monaco Yacht Club.
