Dear Readers,

In this month’s edition of Logbook I would like to start by thanking all of you who visited us during the Cannes and Monaco Yacht Shows. The interest in our unique range of yachts, and the WIDER 150 in particular, was overwhelming at times… my sales team and I have never been so busy dealing with enquiries and arranging visits. My apologies also for those who were unable to visit but hopefully this can be done in the future.

Whilst our sales team relocate to the U.S. to attend the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, held between the 3rd and 7th November, our production team are fully focused on building the 165.

This is a wonderful time to view the yacht, since partitions have now been completed and visitors can get a real sense of the spaces and layout of the yacht. If you would like to arrange a visit, please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Whether it is in Fort Lauderdale at the Show or at our shipyard in Ancona, I do hope that we see you soon.

Sincerest Regards,

PRINCE ALBERT II OF MONACO VISITS WIDER 150

Among the many guests who visited during the recent Monaco Yacht show, the visit of his Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco was of particular significance.
Prince Albert II expressed great appreciation, and considerable insight, for the technology employed onboard the ground-breaking superyacht. However, his visit was not only to see first-hand a yacht that has been so widely publicized and talked about: the Prince, together with the CEO of RINA, Ugo Salerno, bestowed the vessel with the prestigious RINA PLATINUM GREEN PLUS AWARD.

WIDER AT THE FORT LAUDERDALE BOAT SHOW

After two highly successful Med-based Boat Shows, the WIDER team have hardly had time to unpack before setting off across the pond to the heart of the American yachting industry: Fort Lauderdale. This lively and popular Show will be held from 3rd - 7th November.

WIDER 165 PROGRESS REPORT

Designed to accommodate the owner’s long wish-list of toys, both inside and out, the WIDER165 will satisfy the desires of the most adventurous, with submarine and helipad included. A visit to the shipyard in Ancona shows that great progress has been made in developing the layout and herein lies one of the biggest differences between her and the smaller sister-ship, the WIDER150.
