Wider 150 – Interior designers Ideæitalia

While the array of innovative ideas that add to the practicality and usability of the WIDER 150 have drawn the eye of clients, brokers, and the yachting press, the quality of design and finish to the contemporary styled interiors have also been received with universal acclaim. The elegant and inviting colours and textures found insidethe WIDER 150 are the fruit of a collaboration between the design team at the WIDER Superyacht Division and IdeæItalia, a design studio based in La Spezia.

IdeæItalia were briefed to create a design that would offer luxury without being ostentatious. Materials should be used to generate a warm and inviting atmosphere that took advantage of the huge windows throughout the yacht to ensure a light and airy feel. Based on all feedback to date, it’s safe to say that they excelled themselves and delivered to the brief. An appealing blend of woods, metals and stones are used throughout the vessel in a way that unites one area with another without ever becoming monotonous. Visitors have commented on the large metal feature panel that is situated in the main saloon, and a similar tone is found in the inlaid wood and metal castings fitted throughout.

Davide Bernardini and Alessio Battistini, the founders of IdeæItalia, said “the project was created with the intention of doing something completely new, which meant an unconventional layout designed to increase space and astonish those who experience it”. The interiors of the WIDER 150 certainly do astonish, as the yacht continues to attract crowds wherever she goes.
