The WIDER team returned from the Cannes Yachting Festival last week with an air of excitement as the event resulted in a record number of qualified new contacts, and notable recognition. A nearly continuous flow of yacht owners and potential buyers passed by the WIDER stand, eager to visit the WIDER 150 lying at anchor just a short WIDER 32 tender-ride away. Not only was the new 150 superyacht a lively topic of conversation, but also new projects were discussed by interested parties eager to benefit from the cutting-edge technology and undeniable quality of finishing that WIDER offers.

On the Saturday evening of the Show, the Word Yacht Trophies were awarded in a glamorous ceremony held on the Carlton Hotel’s private beach terrace. Here, the WIDER 150 carried away the highly-contested award for ‘Most Innovative Yacht’ in the 38m-54m category. The Boat Show and Awards ceremony reinforced the conviction of everybody on the WIDER team that they offer a very special and unique product and that even greater things lie ahead.
