During the Monaco Yacht Show 2016, on Thursday 29th September, his Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco toured the WIDER 150 expressing great appreciation, and considerable insight, for the technology employed on board the ground-breaking superyacht. But his visit was not only to see first-hand a yacht that has been so widely publicized and talked about: the Prince, together with the CEO of RINA, Ugo Salerno, bestowed the vessel with the prestigious RINA PLATINUM GREEN PLUS AWARD.

Presented annually to the best yacht over 40 m, the award recognizes that the WIDER 150 exceeds every other yacht in terms of her “green” credentials, taking in to consideration fuel consummation, as well as overall environmental impact from construction.
