Hot on the heels of the recent sale of the first WIDER 125, the Italian shipyard based in Ancona is delighted to announce the sale of their larger WIDER 150 just two months after her world premiere at the Monaco Yacht Show in late September. The Canadian customer was assisted in the purchase by Golan Levi from Swell Yachting.

“We are thrilled that our new line of unique yachts are getting the recognition we believe they deserve… the new owner was attracted to the range of features we have included on board, particularly the diesel electric propulsion system which offers such a quiet mode of operation…something the new owners value extremely highly,” commented Jeremy Roche, Sales & Marketing Manager of WIDER.

The WIDER 150 will return to the shipyard for minor works to tweak the yacht’s interior to the new owner’s specific requirements and will be cruising the Mediterranean in the spring, newly christened M/Y Bartali.

“The new owners are passionate about water sports… They loved the design and layout of the WIDER 150 but I believe the huge owner’s tender in the beach club was the final element that won them over to WIDER,” added Roche.

WIDER currently have the 165′ Cecilia in construction, available for sale at 30 m euro, with delivery in time for the Q1 of 2018. WIDER have confirmed that they have the capacity to build a second unit in parallel, and are currently in advanced discussions with several interested parties.
