A busy month at the shipyard has seen significant progress on the WIDER 165 ‘Cecilia’, which remains on track for her launch in late Q1 of 2018.
“We continue to make good progress, particularly on the technical installations. The addition of the hotel and propulsion switchboards is a significant milestone. We can now close up the foredeck and continue with the painting cycle,” said Stefano Talamonti, Project Manager on the 165. “The Interior design is also starting to show her beauty, which is quite different from the 150,” he continued.
In the guest areas progress has been focused on the lower deck where the two twin and both VIP cabins are at an advanced stage of completion. Further forward, the crew quarters are equally well developed.
Outside, fairing of the foredeck guest area is all but completed and the carbon fibre hatch, which seals the Beach Club, has been installed in the transom.
The stand out feature on the WIDER 165, is the 98m² beach club with a 7m pool – larger than any competitor – which converts to store a 32’ rigid tender. In addition, her diesel-electric propulsion using azimuthal pods – the same proven system as used on the WIDER 150 – ensures that she will be the quietest among yachts in the same size range.
The WIDER 165, project ‘Cecilia’, is available for sale at 30M euro and is the most exciting new yacht available with a short delivery time.
